Small-group conversations began as an experiment. While public speaking allows me to share with a large audience and coaching allows me to interact one-on-one, I was curious about a way to split the difference. I've been leading these groups for over a year now. They’ve provided a front-row seat for countless moments of vulnerability, kindness, and connection.

In celebrating the first year of small-group conversations, unexpected friendships kept coming up as we talked at the reunion. There were so many stories of strangers who turned into sources of encouragement and support, like-minded folks helping each other feel seen, heard, and understood. The coolest part is that so many of the relationships that began during a three-hour gathering online, they're still going strong months and even a year later.

As for this new topic, it’s one I can relate to. My life doesn’t look the way I hoped it would at 44. The same is true of my career, and perhaps you can relate. I thought about calling this one “How Did I End Up Here?” but maybe that question is secondary. I’m pretty clear when it comes to the road that led me to today. The harder part is accepting where I am, making peace not with the past but with the present. Which might require being honest about my disappointment, in hopes of letting go and moving forward.

Join me Thursday, May 23 at 7pm ET, as I host this brand-new topic. We’ll connect via Zoom and the event will be limited to eight people, so that everyone gets time to share. It’s good to set aside three hours. I promise the time goes by fast!

Please note: Due to the limited nature of these events, tickets are non-refundable.

You will receive the Zoom link a couple days before our time together, followed by a word doc (aka road map aka game plan) on the day of the event.
