The Monday Group (January 2025)

While the Sunday Group is more widely known, and easier to understand after meeting 24 months straight, the Monday Group is its wildcard bohemian younger sibling—with an origin story that spans multiple days, countries, and continents. (In my own family, Sunday = Jessica, Monday = Emily.) Here's a quick history lesson: 

A crew of eight (nine including me) started meeting on Friday nights back in January of 2023. Things were interesting from the jump, because what was a Friday group for most of us, translated to Saturday mornings for Lyndal and Marlei, who joined us from Australia. We met for the first two months of 2023, followed by a reunion in December, before switching to Thursday nights at the beginning of 2024. And yes—that meant Friday mornings for Lyndal & Marlei once again. We did just a single month of Thursdays before settling on Monday nights (aka Tuesday mornings in Australia) for the last 11 months.

Monday is the plan for 2025. Open spots have been rare in this story, but right now we have some room. If four weeks of intentional conversation feels like a sweet way to spend January, I hope you might just go for it.
