Small-group conversations began as an experiment. While public speaking allows me to share with a large audience and coaching is a way to interact one-on-one, I was curious about a way to split the difference. I've been leading these groups for almost two years now. They’ve provided a front-row seat for countless moments of vulnerability, kindness, and connection.

When the clothing brand Hurley hired me to be their sales rep for the state of Florida at age 22, that was my dream job. When I left four years later to start a non-profit called To Write Love on Her Arms, it surprised a lot of people. I could not have imagined what TWLOHA would become and what my life would look like in the years ahead, with events in all 50 states and a visit to the White House, winning $1,000,000 on national television, countless awards and invitations and opportunities. Someone even played me in a movie. When I left the organization in 2021 after 15 years, it’s safe to say that people were surprised again.

I guess I’ve quit my dream job twice. With this new small-group conversation, I want to talk about it—not only my story but yours as well. What do we do when from the outside life looks great but the truth is we’re unhappy? How do we let go of something when it feels like part of our identity? How can we process regret and the fear that our best days might be behind us? How do we begin to dream new dreams?

Join me Saturday, September 21 at 4pm ET. We’ll connect via Zoom and the event will be limited to eight people, so that everyone gets time to share. It’s good to set aside three hours. I promise the time goes by fast!

Please note: Due to the limited nature of these events, tickets are non-refundable.

You will receive the Zoom link a couple days before our time together, followed by a word doc (aka road map aka game plan) on the day of the event.
